Why the Name Change?
When we first started as Firefly-UAV, the name worked well for our drone photography and videography business. However, as we expanded, we realized a need for a name that:
• Clearly communicates our services – Many people aren’t familiar with the term UAV (Unmanned Aerial Vehicle), but “Drones” is instantly recognizable.
• Connects with our region – We do most of our work in Hampshire, Surrey, and the South Downs National Park. The new name highlights this connection.
• Sounds more professional and local – For businesses, event organizers, and property developers looking for drone services, “South Downs Drones” makes it immediately obvious what we offer.
What’s Staying the Same?
While our name has changed, our commitment to quality aerial photography and videography remains the same. We still offer:
• Drone photography and videography for real estate, construction, events, and marketing.
